No, seriously though, That kitchen 3D is rather impressive. I have used 3D in the past when working for architectural practices. I looked at some of them when I started up on my own 6 years ago but I think I was put off by the prices being quoted so stuck with 2D CAD. I've downloaded sketchup and will give it a try when I get a moment.

I've had SketchUp7 for some time but just used it, as some on here have also done, for the simplest of presentations to "give a rough idea". But with more time in prospect I used one Christmas voucher on Amazon and bought the "SketchUp 7 for Dummies" book, which I'll certainly spend time with for producing drawings for our plans for this place.
As Neil says, the tutorials available on some sites are free and VERY useful.
