Hi all,

just done the lounge & kitchen today & would like to put the dpm down tomorrow & start putting the insulation down. I wetted the floor (it was well soaked actually) before the slurry grout - would it be OK to put the dpm down & crack on or should I wait a while to let it dry out a bit. Under the beam and block is obviously ventilated but the soil never seems to dry out - high water table - so the drying with dpm down will take sometime I guess.

Any advice

Thanks

CC

Presuming the roof is on then yes, I can't see a reason for dpm under the insulation, I always put it on top only where it could both dpm and vb.

The floor will dry out from underneath.

Thanks Tony,

DPM is going under celotex - wanted to protect it + I thought that was standard practice. Roof is on.
