ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

I was watching a site yesterday.

Building company turned up with a 3cx JCB, and dug about 2 dozen 4m deep sampling trenches between 10:30 and 4, and took more than 100'samples, and filled them all in afterwards.

Who needs a minidigger? Get the real thing.

I was not allowed to nominate anybody to be inserted in the holes.

Much what I did with the SE looking down the hole and at the soil that came out. But I only dug about 5 holes and only 2 metres deep.
