ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

Dont know why I never joined a site like this sooner but just completed our selfbuild project in Derbyshire after 5 years - joined to give help/advice to anyone who needs it!

:) Welcome. Better late than never.

I take it you've read through the blogs? Especially Jeremy's! ;)

Welcome, albeit a belated one! :D - I'm sure there will be many people who would welcome your experienced based thoughts and guidance, when the time arises. In between time how about elaborating on your project - no need to be shy! -_-

Welcome, its good to hear that it is possible to get through a self build - Care to share some details ? Construction, heating, etc, oddities and interesting bits.
What would you do the same if you were starting again and what would you change ?
