ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

How Many Swear Words Can I Safely String Together In One Sentence On Ebuild?

I would respectfully like to draw colleagues' attention to this news item. If I don't use Communications-Official-Speak I would be swearing as eloquently as Rhod Gilbert. So I have to play it straight.

And if you don't know what I'm on about read this.

Two friends have built their houses in the period we have been waiting because of GCNs. Two.

I'm going for a long walk with the dogs this morning to calm down. I am not happy.

Ja! Richtig!
Heil Hitler (wenn Du Ihn siehst)

Tr. Heil Hitler (if you see him: pun on the word heil; it can mean hail, or heal; this was an under=your=breath phrase used by Germans who hated him

The worst of it is that our kids, when about 7 or 8 visited all the local ponds armed with buckets. And brought back as many GCNs as they could find.

One of them is getting married in June. There's a bit of me which really hopes that their children will be super-interested in GCNs; allowing me to rock Junior on my knee and tell him or her about how naughty mum was when she was young.

Perfect.
I could even have one of the many squashed GCN cadavers on our lane repaired and then stuffed.

Knew it at the time

Had a long debate about GCN at university. My view was not popular. But it is where I found out about their dislike for bleach.
