ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

Hi Ebuild community!

Just found this site and thought it looked good.

Story so far-
I am a property lawyer but will be resting that while I manage and work on my build project.

I bought an end-of-garden plot last year with no permission on it and actually a failed application from 10 years ago. So a bit of a risk!
I got consent for 2x 1 bed semi detached houses and I plan to keep the houses as an income/pension when built.

I am sorting the utilities, the pre-build planning conditions and building regs at the moment.

Just got a load of Heras fencing on Ebay. Plan is to get contractors in for main jobs but manage and do a fair bit my self. I have built a couple of extensions and converted a chapel in the past but nothing like this.

Great to find lots of people who are in the same boat.

Yeah, a hive of activity.

Grit your teeth because there are more puns out there, someone might even start waxing lyrical and advising you to comb the forum for information. When it all starts to get tiresome just tell them to buzz off.

Right, I've just got them all out of the way for you in one go, so hopefully there'll be no sting in the tail. ;)

Oh god.
