ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

This is my previous thread;

http://www.ebuild.co...kitchen-wiring/

Want to check I have not forgotten anything and what I have done is good. So ceiling is down and walls chased out and ive put in the following;

1x10mm T+E back to CU for Hob
2x2.5mm T+E back to CU for 2 ovens
1x2.5mm T+E from ring to ceiling for extractor (box for switch/fuse also chiselled out)
All new socket positions chiselled out
Fridge/DW/Freezer will have flush sockets in cupboards.

Chased out for 20a switch for each oven
Chased out for 3a Switched fused spur for extractor
What do I need for hob? Mcb in cu 32a? What switch etc above worktop?

Figured I may a well run 2more 2.5 T+E back to CU to replace current old wiring for kitchen ring main (red and white at mo).

Lighting circuit is fine.
Chris
