ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

Can I kill myself now ?

I can do it for you, just make sure you bring a tape measure so I can get away with it.....

1. Under an ancient law, it is legal to kill a Welshman in Hereford, but only in the cathedral close on a Sunday with a longbow from exactly 12 yards.

Had forgotten that one!

True, but good luck citing it as a defence.

Anyway, no need for violence, just tell him it's his round and he'll die of shock. ;)

I note that the Chief Exec of the Hereford Cathedral Trust is called .. er .. Glyn Morgan.

Don't tell the Bishop.

I rang the Samaritans over this online bullying, and they told me to stop ringing.

:(

I used to do a bit of volunteering for Samaritans: my advice would have been to keep ringing when I was on duty because I would like some of your advice....

Deep Manly Welsh Voice: "Hello, is that the Samies"?

Me: "Yes, hello...(long pause)... tell me what's on your mind"

Deep Manly Welsh Voice: "They want to do me in.... to be honest... outside the Cathedral"

Me: "Never mind that, how do you install one of those fancy mixer taps I bought from B+Q?"

Deep Manly Welsh Voice: "Ah stuff this mun, I'm off to work"

Job done. See?

Actually, we're assuming an awful lot.

He's Nick FROM Wales, not Nick THE Welsh.

Could be a cockney for all we know.

I tip my hat to Jeremy, a knowledgeable gentleman in a modern setting. All I can do is admire.

To the tea people, all I can say is it does when I'm drinking too much coffee! :)
