ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

Seriously, I appear to be Stuck Inside of Mobile !!

From within Chrome, experimenting, I changed the theme to Mobile ...

Now I cant change back ...

I can no longer see my name at the top of the screen ...

I can no longer access the settings menu ...

I can't see any options anywhere to Change Theme ...

I get two options at the bottom of the page - 'Full Version' and 'English eBuild' - they don't have much effect it seems ...

Aaarghhh!

I switched to Firefox, IE and tried from there - same problem...

can anybody explain what's going on here?

Your doing 90 miles an hour down a dead end street
Or possible your wearing a leopard skin pillbox hat

No idea as I don't use chrome. You could try installing it again.

I have been trying to get my android phone to connect to a raspberry pi via bluetooth SSH all morning.
Total waste of a morning.

In Chrome:
  • Menu (top right, so-called hamburger icon)
  • > New Incognito Window
  • > browse to ebuild.co.uk
Does the issue recur?

Yes? Using the same technique above, in Chrome, can you duplicate the same issue on a different machine?

YES - I'm stumped.

NO, it's an issue local to your machine.

Thanks for the tip !
Deleted all cookies and restarted Chrome

Then tried incognito. Realized you have to click full version and then right down the bottom you see 'change theme' and I got it toggling

Then went back to cognito - and it carried on working ...

I think it must have been User Error ;-)
