ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

Just joined up today :)

Read the site for a while and decided to join so I could ask a few questions.

Have a newish (poorly) built home from 2008 and have found appalling standards in this house as well as poor quality trades when trying to fix some of them :(

I want to generally improve the house heating wise but understand I may be up against it with a brick and block 80mm cavity house and block and beam flooring.

Is there a section I should ask all my questions under 1 renovation type post?

Best to keep them apart so others can find the subject matter in the appropriate places. Digression is normal so don't worry about a thread on insulation ending up discussing broadband etc. if your going the whole hog you can ask for bloggers rights and stick the cream in there ;)
Regards, nick.
