ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

Hi all

as per the post I've attached the CIT calculator which allows you to do condensation, freeze or heat loss calcs for both nitrile and poly insulation.

Also allows you to pick an alternate material if you know the k-value

I've had it years as my father worked for them back in the 90's !

Cheers

Peter

What a nice, simple little application. Wish there were more like that.

there is a CIT.dat ST that you can add your own insulation products to - again, easy to edit and it does what it says on the tin !

I used it to prove to my contractor on a job that 15mm insulation on a 28mm pipe was pointless and also didn't meet regs !
