ebuild is sad to announce its closure - it has become too time and resource intensive to develop, manage and maintain.

However, ebuild will remain on-line in archive mode (ie no posting facilties) for several weeks so that users can use it as an information resource.

Things seem to have taken a serious turn for the castle builder. A three month suspended sentence, enforced if the place is still standing in six months time.

So if he serves his 3 months inside, will he get to keep the house?

Maybe he could get permission for a new farm house and then get one if those America house movers in to shift it into a new location. Would make great telly.

They will act on the enforcement order and demolish it and then send him the bill.

Pity, I quite liked the place and when you look at some of the detailing it's quite a good job.

If built in an earlier age it would now be Listed!!

He's a million and one steps ahead of them. It isn't about playing the game any more - he played, won & now the local authority and those further up the chain are desperate to change the rules because they are bad losers. This is costing tax payers a fortune which will never be recovered, and in the end there are no winners.
