Getting Error Messages When Trying To Open Ebuild.

I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on with those repeated fault messages so as a final straw I cleared all my cache and history and it worked!
Really weird that it only affected ebuild.
I'm on Firefox.
Admin wondered if anyone else had experienced the problem and asked me to post this.

On other forums I hear no end of complaints about Firefox. I use Operar myself, and although not perfect it doesn't seem bad.

You can set up Firefox to clear out the rubbish when you close it down, but I think you know that.
I just looked at the cached settings on mine at it is at 350MB, but that is just the max, not sure what is actually in it.

I often have to reboot my iphone when Ebuild refuses to load but I'm sure that its my iphone and not Ebuild and would be the same with other websites. Where does the 404 error show up?
I do get occasionally logged off inadvertently, but again I suspect that's down to the device history rather than this site.
I'll be honest, on the whole this site ticks over pretty much hassle free, and the ONLY gripe I have is that there's no auto save for when your typing out a long 'un and the shat hits the fan and its all gone. That is the only thing that I'd say gets on my wick.
I've noticed between my boys laptop, my "I" devices etc and the desktop, most of the problems are with the devices rather than the sites.
Technology, eh lol.

That's an known issue. Basically this web site is hosted on a shared server with other web sites. Therefore the server can become over loaded (by activity on another site) and that has an impact on ebuild. The only answer to this is to spend a lot more money on the server set up which is not currently feasible.

This is a really weird problem if just Joiner was getting it. Anyone who can give me a steer as to what is happening here?
NB. I'm using an old version of FF on Ubuntu. I do have problems with some web sites, but not ebuild! Go figure.

One other "thing" was that hitting the bookmarked location I'd often be taken to a list of google hits that featured 'ebuild forum', 'ebuild', or 'forum', and hitting 'ebuild forum' from there got me an error message.
If I got a notification that someone had posted to a thread I was included in, by clicking the link in the email I got taken straight to the forum, but I just couldn't DO anything once I was there except read that particular thread. Hitting "Forums" at the head of the page just got me an error message.
I think we should just treat such events as character-building exercises.
