It tells me I should be paying £11.34 per square metre for my 60mm tarmac binder layer. The best I have been able to obtain here is £30 per metre, with the most expensive quote over £50 per metre.
I feel cheated, but have ran out of contractors to try to get it any lower.
Have you thought about pouring concrete instead and using that instead of the binder layer - you can do all the prep work yourself and then just use the lorry chute to get it roughly in the right place as its beside the road then when you are all done of the house a tack coat on top and a surface tarmac to get it black?
Western Isles fuel - we now have a rebate system and one retailer who was prepared to fight the fuel cartel and drag the prices to where they should be..... result 119.9p/L petrol :-) A few years ago I was sure we would be at least 150p/L by now, it was around that for long enough.
