So the plot is now ours. Time to properly plan in detail exactly what we are going to build on it.First job though is to clear the plot. It's lain largely untouched for the last 30 years, slowly turning to scrub. At the beginning of the year (when we decided to buy it) you could just about pick your way around the site, but that was in the spring....

So the plot has gained planning permission, we now have to buy it.Our solicitor warned us, buying a plot is not always simple or quick and he was right. We started the process of buying the plot at the beginning of July. We had already agreed the price with the seller, so it was just a case of making that a formal offer and awaiting his formal acceptance...
